What’s on your list?

We all have a list, …I do too

It’s a list of all the reasons why you can’t do it, reasons why you shouldn’t do it, reasons why it won’t work, reasons why you are not ready yet, …and on and on it goes.

I’m too busy…

I can’t afford it…

I don’t have time…

I’m too young…

I’m too old…

It’s too risky…

I tried it before and it didn’t work…

My partner won’t let me…

I can’t on a Monday…

I’ve just got a new dog…

I’m too tall…

I’m too short…

There’s a recession…

Or, I’m just not quiet ready yet…

Maybe next time…

It’s your list and I hope it’s a good one,

because at best it’s keeping you exactly where you are, that darn list determines the quality of your life, for better or worse.

I know that without doubt some of the items on your list may be legitimate reasons to stop you …others are justification to make you feel better when you don’t step up and take action and do the things you know you should.

You will always find reasons why you can’t do something…

You only need one reason why you can, and if you want it bad enough you will find a way, if not, ‘you will find an excuse.’

So, what’s it going to be?

I remember many years ago reading the following quote…

“There are three sorts of people in the world, those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what happened”

Which one are you?

Thank you for watching!

i LOVE the positivity of only needing one reason to do things without belittling the reasons holding you back. it’s true, you will always have a list bogging you mentally, but you only need one to change your motion.

  2. Agreed! Thanks Hayley for your input.
